About GearComps

GearComps helps players find out what used sports gear is really worth. Trade-in tools show what a store will pay you, and marketplaces are noisy. We build one neutral page per model with the going used price, worked out from real listings and refreshed daily.

GearComps started as two sites, SwingComps for golf clubs and PaddleComps for pickleball paddles, and now brings them under one roof. More sports are coming.

GearComps is run by Troy Pappas (TNP Digital Ventures) from Virginia Beach, VA. It's independent and not affiliated with any manufacturer or retailer.

Our data rules

• We only show prices that come from real, legitimate sources, and we name the source.
• When we don't have data, we say so. We never make up a number.
• Estimates will always be labeled as estimates.
